About the service
artists.digital provides websites and related tools for artists. The features, setup work and support included in your service will be set out in the plan and order details you accept. Features described as previews, pilots or planned releases are not guaranteed to be available when you order.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and does not reserve a paid service or create a subscription. We will use the details you provide to send the launch information you requested. You can ask to leave the waitlist at any time.
Your order and payments
Before you subscribe, we will provide the applicable price, any setup charge, billing frequency, tax treatment and payment terms. Additional work or third-party costs must be agreed separately. We will explain renewal, cancellation and any refund arrangements before you commit to a paid plan.
Your content remains yours
You retain ownership of the content you provide, including artwork, images and text. You grant us permission to store, copy, resize and display it as needed to deliver and maintain your website and the tools you use. This does not transfer ownership of your artwork to us.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and publish your content. You are responsible for its accuracy and for ensuring it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Using the service responsibly
Keep your account details secure and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not use the service for unlawful content, misleading activity, spam or attempts to disrupt other websites or systems. We may need to restrict access to investigate a security issue or serious misuse, and will explain the reason where we reasonably can.
Selling through your shop
You are the seller of the products offered through your website. You are responsible for product descriptions, pricing, taxes, fulfilment, delivery, returns and the information and rights you must provide to customers. Payment services and other integrations may have their own terms and fees.
Running and maintaining your website
We aim to provide a reliable service and backup all data, but maintenance, faults and third-party outages can cause interruptions. Any specific support, backup or availability commitments will be set out in your service agreement. Keep your own copies of original artwork files and other content you could not easily replace.
Privacy and visitor information
Our Privacy & Cookies page explains how personal information is handled. When you collect enquiries or orders through your website, you are responsible for explaining that use to your visitors. Where we process that information on your behalf, the relevant responsibilities will be set out in a data processing agreement.
Changes, cancellation and leaving
We will explain any material changes to a paid service or its terms before they take effect, including any applicable options to cancel. Your final agreement will explain notice periods, what happens to your website and domain, and the arrangements for exporting or deleting content when the service ends.
Your rights and questions
Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any applicable consumer rights. If you have a concern about the service, contact us so we can work through it with you.
