About artists.digital

Websites for artists, shaped by the experience of building them.

It started with artist websites

artists.digital grew out of our work creating websites for artists in an agency. Each artist brought a different practice, a different body of work and a different story. But many of the practical needs were the same.

A good place to show the work. A straightforward way to add a new piece. Clear information about exhibitions and commissions. And, for artists who wanted it, a shop where people could buy directly.

The same needs, again and again

Working on those websites helped us see where things became harder than they needed to be. Updating a portfolio could feel like a technical job. Small changes could turn into a list of requests. The website could become another thing to manage, instead of something that supported the artist.

We began asking a simple question: could we bring those recurring needs together in a service built specifically for artists?

Keep the useful things simple

That idea became artists.digital. A choice of designs that give the artwork room, familiar tools for managing content, and a service that brings the essential parts of running a website together.

Our aim is to make everyday jobs easier, from adding artwork to keeping a portfolio up to date. The website should feel like your own, without asking you to become a web designer to look after it.

Built around your practice

Some artists need a portfolio. Others want to sell original work or prints, share news, or invite enquiries. We are building around those real needs, with room to grow as your practice changes.
